Ketty & David’s Wedding

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]wo years ago I was asked I would photograph Richie and Calliopi’s wedding  in Edenvale, up in Johannesburg.  I had known Richie for years, we had worked together for a while, and Calliopi too (she’s the sister of a long time friend) I couldn’t say no!

Fast forward two years and I received an email from Noelene (Calliopi’s aunt) asking if I could meet with her because after seeing my photos from Calli and Richies wedding, Ketty, their cousin, was keen to get me back up to Edenvale to photograph her wedding later in February.

Ketty and David’s wedding was to take place in the same garden as Calli and Richies wedding two years prior.  Under a Bedouin tent, with close friends and family, a recipe that clearly works!

I have to say I haven’t had this much fun photographing a wedding in a long time, and I think that the relaxed atmosphere helped a lot!
